While the 168 tender is seeing great progress in Antonio, the cab of 168 has returned to Colorado Springs so that the Colorado Springs restoration team of the Friends can refurbish it over the Winter.

Work started last week to document, assess, and catalog the construction of the cab so that it can be restored accurately, using new materials only when needed. We thought you'd like to see the progress and of course we're always happy when folks come by in person to see it. Even happier when you support the project through your donations! Most of the team working on it doesn't frequent this bar so if you want to make specific comments you can email them to me (drgw0579@comcast.net) and I will make sure we all get the message. I have many more photos at this stage, but I picked the first 5 (the limit) to best show what's happening and what we have to work with.
