Locomotive scrapping

November 16, 2017 01:55PM
In three recent posts locomotive scrapping in Alamosa has been mentioned. The 375, 462 and 496. As for the 375 and 462, Its stated that they are scrapped in Alamosa. The 496 is shown in a dead line and loaded on a flat in Alamosa before heading to Pueblo for scrapping. So was Alamosa a collection area or a cut up area too?
