Hi,
I was in the the hospital again last month. I've decided to list my models on Shapeways even though I've not really tested them like I would prefer.
I've had the 4-wheel products listed for some time. While trying to list SRR baggage #5, I somehow got a lot of other items listed that I had not yet intended to list. It will take me a while to clean that up.
The new listing for the baggage car is:
====================================
1873 era D&RG early passenger baggage car. Model developed plans from plans for Silverton Railroad SRR #5.
One of the earlyest 2-truck passenger cars on the D&RG. 30' long.
A complete model needs:
1873 baggage body10
1873 baggage frm020
1873 baggage roof016
====================================
If you are interested, please feel free to look it up at Shapeways. It does not have the steps on the underframe so they will need to be added. Also there are no handrails on the platforms on the underframe so they will also need to be added. The underframe has four (4) pilot holes started for the couplers (HOn3 or N scale) and the trucks.
Thanks for looking.
As for my HOn3 model railroad, I had intended to have a parlor or private car lettered for a fictitious North Carolina Central. It was to be numbered 1701. Can you guess the name?
It never got done when I diverted to Live Steam for a long while.
