I think you have just answered the old question, "which came first – the Chicken or the Egg?"

Obviously the egg, out of which came the chicken, came first.  What laid the egg wasn't quite a chicken — maybe a mudhen that mated with a goose (or vice versa).  OTOH, maybe my theory – like global warming / climate change – is just another Chinese hoax — except that I'm not Chinese but Scottish & German, which probably explains why my ancestors wore leather kilts instead of plaid, and enjoyed Düdelsach Musik instead of den Bagpheifen. . .     eye rolling smiley
