who can identify these Uintah buildings ?

I have a couple of buildings I need identifying .
Saw this item in the background of a photo of Uintah wy at Mack yard from around 1926, can anyone work out what its purpose was? It looks too big for a telephone box .
and this little beast, from atchee yard,
this seems to have moved around a bit as I've seen it in a number of photos at different locations
for instance next to the station in mack , although this building has a different color scheme and looks a bit bigger
any suggestions as to purpose would be much appreciated
