Planning a runby location in advance is much more complicated than taking photos as the opportunity presents itself.

Natural settings are always changing. Bright flowers today, dull tomorrow. Timing, light conditions, space for photo lines all are other factors you have to consider in selecting a photo site.

I am sure yours had all these considerations in place.
