No harm, no foul. I'll get around to posting the photos I have shortly. I found a piece of the boiler jacket, a few large nuts, bolts, & washers, some lumps of coal, a brass snap button in canvas (like might be found on the cab curtain), some broken cab glass, a crushed early D&RG lantern, and a piece of wood from the cab which still had original Baldwin green interior paint on it. I left all pieces at the wreck site. A metal detector might find more extensive remains.
Don't know if you realized it, but your first photo was taken next to the recovery track location...
It was kind of interesting, when I found it in July, to think no one had probably stood on that site and realized what had happened there for 114 years...
