Ran across this today

[desertempireproject.blogspot.com]

Seems like the City has decided Rail Preservation and a bunch of museums are not bringing the income the city desires. I already checked the Facebook page of Dynamic Rail (owners of Amtrak 231 and 644) and their page had posted a similar update about eviction and needing a new home. The 223 group appears to be in need as well, but more importantly, what will happen with all of the large standard gauge equipment housed at the museum? They have a UP FEF-2, a turbine, a tunnel motor (currently the only Rio Grande Tunnel motor in actual preservation) and many other rather historic pieces.

So what happens now? is this a false alarm, or are we on the brink of losing a very very large collection of rolling stock. Rolling stock surronds that whole building, big steam in the UP 833 and even little 0-6-0's. What happens if the city goes through with this?
