HI All,
Yesterday Aug 25 the CRRM hosted the Denver South Park & Pacific Historical Society and the Rocky Mountain PBS who were filming an episode of their popular "Colorado Experience" show which airs on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. The show which will air on December 7th is all about the RGS Galloping Geese. Everyone had a great time and we ran all three of our geese for the filming. It was amazing to have all three geese running on the CRRM loop at the same time. Goose 2 led the way followed by the 6 and last was the 7. Unfortunately none of us volunteers got any pictures or video, because we were busy keeping the operation going. I was in the back of the 7 giving the informational talk to the DSP&P guests riding with us and did not get to see much of the parade, much less get pictures. The filming by RMPBS does include some drone footage as well as some interviews with some of our volunteers and should be a great show.
If anyone present got pictures, it would be great if you could post a few here on the group. After the show is aired on December 7th the show will become available on the Rochy Mountain PBS web site the following day Dec 8th for those of you without access to RMPBS. The web site is: rmpbs.org/coloradoexperience. The web site has many interesting podcasts of previous shows on Colorado history which you might find interesting.
It was an honor to be part of the event and hopefully someone got pictures and will post them.
