At some point you have to put yourself before the trains, and take care of yourself first, then later there can be time for trains again!!
If you can explain how to turn your mind off, Id be glad to do this. Unfortunately, without a job, I sit here most of the day and I can not help but thinking about designing and creating. I enjoy creating items. I am not able to turn it off. It is why I took an old Atlas 6" metal Lathe (c1990) and into a robotic CNC machine using an IBM AT computer. I designed the mechanical hardware, the electrical hardware and the computer software myself.
It worked quite well.
I am a designer and creator that happens to focus on railroading.
As far as what's going on, I need to find out what my sister and brother-in-law have their shorts in a knot about. They are not talking and I can not find answers unless I have the problem better defined.
I found Social Security disability a non-starter. They took x-rays to see the site of the where the tumor was. It had only showed up on an MRI. They never even talked to the surgeon. The decision was against me. That's when I got a lawyer for an appeal which failed.
I do not happen to trust the Social Security Admin and their disability work for something off the wall such as my tumor. They do well with a missing hand or arm, but not a non-visual item such mine.
Thanks for the advice. The moral support is very welcome.
