As I recall trains were running thru before the wye extension. I remember them having two first class cars and only one parlor car (the other was being built). I want to say this was 2009. They left the train sets together and alternated the parlor car to each end.
In 2010 they ran through when cumbres section stayed at the section house for the night due to the missing bridge. I only assume this was also true before the fire.
