Doug, my team installed and buried the air line from the air compressor in the dog house north of the wood shop all the way to the coal tipple to aid in starting the Fairbanks diesel. We could only bury the pipe 2' deep as that was the limit of the trenching machine, and I suspect that condensation got into the pipe and it froze and burst the pipe one winter. It is a shame it no longer works as it is all 3/4" copper tube wrapped in 10 mil plastic tape.

Perhaps we can dig up a section about 1/2 way and cut and test the line some day.
