Except that the RGS Sunset Logo at the top of your flyer on the root post is the version with the offset . . .
And – as Heisenberg observed – the Chrono-Synclastic Infindibulum is warped: the more you pin down the 'when' the less you know about the 'where' (or the 'what'), so in some Alternate Universe the RGS has survived & thrived – to the point that the wooden trestle at Ames was replaced with one similar to those at Lobato and Cascade Creek, so no need for dummy bents! *

* No need for #455 either, since such a line would have been absorbed by Uncle Pete and standard gauged & diseaselized decades ago.
(And a tunnel dug from Butterfly straight under Lizard Head to just above Rico.)
