The car was part of Don Drawer collection at Ft Lupton, CO, better known as the Sundown and Southern. The car was in very poor condition and after Don's passing, it was sold at the auction. The buyer elected to remove the ends, which were still in decent shape, leaving the collapsed center section behind. A few years later, Mike Pannell of the Cheyenne Depot Museum group spotted the ends on a Craigslist ad and saved them from destruction. One end is in Cheyenne and the other in Como, of course. I think Jason M. may have saved a few bits of hardware (maybe the triple valve?) from the center before it was burned.
