These are such fun pictures, Chris. Thank you for sharing them. New Zealand seems to have had more than its share of cute little tramways.

I was confused by this at first, because the plants they're harvesting look nothing like the Old World flax plant (
Linum usitatissimum) from which linen cloth is made, but then I realized that you were referring (of course!) to the New Zealand flax plant (
Phormium tenax).
