Living, breathing time machine

We got back late last night from my birthday present to myself, a visit to the Valhalla of old time railroading, Chama. Again I am amazed by the total experience there. Immersion in a time warp is another way to look at it. We chased the eastbound on the 19th and rode the westbound on the 20th. Wow. As someone not of an age to have witnessed the pre diesel era, this gives me a little taste of what that was like.
Enough rambling. I could go on and on but I just wanted to thank everyone associated with the CATS, past and present, for what you have and continue to do to preserve this masterpiece of a time machine. Words cannot express my feelings. Thank you for what you do and thank you to this forum for letting me express my appreciation.
