Just for fun, I was reviewing this document recently and thought it would be of interest. If I did my research correctly, this is the second RGS No. 1 (formally RGS No. 35, DRGW No. 80) and Boston Coal & Fuel No. 1. Apparently, boiler inspector Ramsey (no relation) was asked to look at the firebox and give his opinion regarding a large "blister" that is probably due to mud build-up in the water space above the mud ring. I don't think he was impressed and neither was D&RGW management. The locomotive was dismantled by the end of the year.
