I agree John. The human and operating aspect of railroading will disappear if the museums and historical groups do not recognize and preserve. The locomotives, cars, buildings and ROW are the priority, but it all loses something without the human element of railroad communications, rules, rights of trains and the process for getting trains over the road safely back in the day.
Maybe you and I can get some others and have and convince the Friends to have a “old time” rules class on the last DRGW Rule Book and explain how all this stuff works?. I have a feeling that you and I would be the only ones to show up.
