Here is a picture of that car on Cumbres during my visits in the 1960's. It was in a cut of cars setout for eastbound movement to Alamosa, so presumably regularly visited Durango as well.
As I understand it there was a group of railfan "phantom painters" who occasionally painted DRGW boxcars in various schemes including the RGS, F&CC, and so on. The RGS car was the only one I saw.
