William sent me more than two dozen photos; the five to which Ross is referring above were posted at [ngdiscussion.net], five others can be found at [ngdiscussion.net].  Most of the others were fairly dark, or cropped very tight on at least one edge.  I've done a rough job of color correction and brightening using Photoshop's "levels" tool; here is the rest of what I have.

Here's the first half of the (in)famous #489 'Green Jacket' excursion on May 21, 1950.  The first photo was taken at Monarch and the second at Poncha Junction; the train then headed south to Mear's Junction as seen in photos #3 and #4:

The second half of the May 21, 1950 excursion to Monarch and then Villa Grove via Poncha Pass.  There was no indication as to the order these were taken, so I just made a wild guess as to the sequence:

There were three photos featuring K-37's #495 & #492; the first was taken at Gunnison in 1948, and the next two in and near Chama in 1956.
The fourth photo shows the aftermath of a derailment at Lobato Siding; the date was not specified:

Another three photos show the results of the 1958 derailment of engines #483 and #494; the fourth photo is of #496 just prior to her being scrapped:

Finally - to end on a happier note - here's a three-engine Cumbres Turn in 1953 with #496 & #498 on the head end; #492 is pushing at the rear:
