While I have no information on colors other than what others have mentioned, in Feb 1930, when Victor Miller took over, The RGS was running 3 separate
Mixed trains daily. One left Telluride at 8 am, one left Durango at 6 am, and the third left Rico at 8:30 am.
In order to accomplish this, with out using D&RGW equipment, they assembled 3 train sets using equipment which they owned.
These were coaches 252, 256, and 260. they converted coach 257 and 259 into combination coach and baggage cars. This left them 1 baggage car short,
so their tool car 013, a 4 door baggage (ex D&RG 119) was refurbished and re numbered 258.
Shortly after this the Gooses were constructed.
