I think it probably is Styx/Alder Springs. Most photos were taken from the other side. It would be interesting to go out there and try to stand in the same spot and wee if the ridge in the back ground has the same profile, though I am not sure the ridge would be visible today as the timber is much thicker. One other thing stands out in this photo which is the difference in the size of the box cars. The small one is probably one that came from the Utah and Northern, while the other is one built by the SVRy car shops. These later large ones went to Honduras in 1947 I think.
