The best of which, IMHO, is Pagosa Brewing Co., way out on the west side of town -
They have won several Colorado State awards, and a few NATIONAL awards for their beers, including a 'Colonial Days' beer whose recipe was then used by some major breweries (like Budweiser) in honor of the 300th Anniversary of the birth of Benjamin Franklin. Their Bier Garden under the pines and aspens offers some excellent food as well, such as a wild salmon 'burger' that is as good as any sandwich I've ever had. Even if you don't move or live there, be sure to stop by Pagosa Brewing next time you're in the neighborhood.
