Thank you, Bret. I have been wanting to see these photos. Still lettered for the BWP. Awesome. Was the car still marked as #23? I think Jim said the water tank sat in the rafters and was unheated? I don't remember seeing any signs a of boiler amongst the remains, though we have wondered at the name "Boiler Springs." The tank wasn't as long as I thought, and it looks like somebody stole it... I wondered why there are two vents on the roof? Wood stove roof jack (?) on the right end of car in the first photo, and in the fourth photo a large round metal vent cap that is still at the site.
