Recently a video I posted on youtube has received over 3,436 views, I would like to share it with this forum, this unique spot has not trail to it but is on National Forest Land and less than 1.25 miles from Osier Station Rd just above the turnarounds at Osier.
...I shot this from a very old historic brass marker which is on the Colorado and New Mexico line, it is there because of settlement of a lawsuit to the US Supreme Court from 1868. I need to reduce the size of it so I can post as an attached file. I have made many videos for US National Park Service and US Immigration Service in venues like Chaco Canyon, Salinas Nat'l Monuments and Carlsbad Caverns National Park, the Toltec Gorge should be an equal to those beautiful and historic places, we just need some people to start a trail to where this was shot, it is a majestic, marvelous place. This was a difficult film to make, I was on a cliff about 1,100' above the Rio de los Pinos River and it was a 450' drop to RR tracks, It is exactly on the state line at this historic marker and a very easy walk if you follow the cowtrails. 1.24 miles
