Actually Jason,Charlie guessed it, it's just off the highway, the view from the road is what everyone else goes for. I was there long before anyone else and knew I'd spoil more than a few photos if I wasn't out of sight. I was lucky that only one guy above the rear of the train got down the embankment. Interesting sidebar, when I got back to the vehicles I ran into Otto Hungry Wolf, author of the Rails in the Mother Lode waiting there.
This was the location of the C&TS Boxcar train centrespread in May 74 Rail Classics, the very first picture I saw of the line: That photo has cost me some tens of thousands of $ going to the US.
