Other than the air pump (and maybe other air brake equipment) these locomotives were 1/3 scale. So, the gauge was 19" [4'8.5" = 56.5" /3 = 18.83"].

The plans were for four Pacifics, but only three were completed. The fourth one is displayed as a completed locomotive in the lobby of the California State RR Museum.
