Follow the above link to the photographs of my most recent visit to the EBT. This is the time machine of Orbisonia's East Broad Top narrow gauge railroad.

Study the textures in these images - the worn brick and stone walls, the patterns and shades of rust, the fatigue and failure of steel, the fading of paint, the collapse of structure, the tarnish, the patina, the mold, the decay, the cracking, the peeling, the settling and unevenness, the slow take over of nature. But it all remains intact. Its all still there. The stable is still full of native Mikados. The passenger and freight rolling stock all indoors and protected from the elements. The series of "M" motorcars and speeders. The roundhouse, turntable, station, full backstops. All the track work and infrastructure. A national treasure; a gateway to the past, all still in existence in the year 2017.
