But I've always liked the V&T's yellow with a green stripe, and IIRC the NN has a classy old wooden caboose that's mostly yellow.
BTW, is that the same engine in both of the photos you posted, or is the Chiriqui Land Co. #709 at least a sister of the engine in the b&w builders' photo? What gauge is it / are they, and does #709 or any of her sisters still exist? Being apparently of an age that one of them could have run on the original Loop-de-Loop, IMHO that would be an excellent choice for Jeff's next restoration project – Just don't let Georgiana Condi-Google-Eyes paint it pink!!
