Close. but not quite... The hotel on the corner was the Victoria. It burned down, and there is a parking lot on its location. The Walsh Hotel is/was next door to the west. The building still stands and the rooms are now cheap-o apartments. The downstairs restaurant is now Nino's Mexican Restaurant. A great place to eat. It was the favorite hangout of the Alamosa Steam Team after work. Great green chili burritos and killer margaritas......
