THANK YOU, Wayne -
For starters, try the thread starting at [
ngdiscussion.net] - there are a lot of photos from the early sixties hidden in the voluminous B.S. there, not only my own but several from Fritz Klinke of Silverton and others of our generation of ancient Curmudgeons. I also posted a bunch of my mo(u)ldy o(u)ldies of mid- and late-sixties freight operations two or three years ago, but am having trouble tracking them down to post links for you.

: The shots I was trying to find are all buried in a related thread - see [
ngdiscussion.net] et seq. and, as above, wade through the B.S. by looking for the attachment icon (the fortunately long-dead body of Clippy the Paperclip).

p.s. In addition to my own moldy oldies, I have nearly 400 of Tom Gildersleeve's far superior images from his slide show of the early and mid-sixties - almost 100 GB worth as .tif files - but I don't want to impose on his friendship by posting more than a handful of them here. He did give me permission to present a full copy of his show to Friends members et al, so perhaps this can be done during one of the evenings of the Rio Grande Southern excursions in September.
pps. "That pesky kid" is WAY to much of a young Whipper-Snapper to appear in any of my really mo(u)ldy sixties pics, but he DOES appear in a few from the mid-nineties, for which I shall search, re-scan (with a new and much better scanner), retouch and re-post
. . .
