I have been compiling a list of known excursions, dates, and engines. I started in 1946-47. Here is the last year 1966. If anyone sees anything wrong, or has info to add let me know. All my info is in a text program and not well organized at this point. Its in a list format much like what I am posting here. If someone wants to make a more formal website, or link or whatever thats fine with me.

It is my thinking the 487 doubleheaded out of Durango with 484 on the 6/17 Illini Trip so there would be a helper engine in Chama for the the trip up the hill.
1966 Fall Trip
09/30-10/02,'66 - #487(?) Alamosa-Durango, #47? to Silverton, #487 Durango-Alamosa w/ #484 Chama-Cumbres.
I'm not positive about the locomotives westbound in '64 and '66 (no photo runbys due to time constraints?), but do have photos of the engines eastbound and IIRC they were usually the same west & east. I'm sure others can confirm #'s.
