Here is a view from the other side. I chose not to go any closer. My father's family taught me not to set foot any man's land without his permission. These are folks who homesteaded South Dakota. (My wife who grew up in the UP seconds that thought.) The building is on Ralph Lauren's land - Double RL Ranch. With signs posted to not trespass. Since I like to shot photos on the public parts of Ralph's land, I respect his position.
There may be a tour including this area in the 2017 Ouray Railroad Daze. If I make to that I will try to get some more photos.
