Here are three scenes on Ecuador’s 42-inch Guyaquil and Quito Railway. Photo 1 and 2 from 1987, No. 3 from 1994.
Top: Baldwin 2-8-0 No. 44, C/N 70891 of 1944 works three cars up the 5% to Alausi.
Bottom: Vendors cover their wares as in advance of Baldwin 2-6-0 No. 7, built in 1901 under C/N 19153 carefully treads through the street market in downtown Milagro.
Viewed from the roof of a building under construction Baldwin No.11 of 1900 eases through the same market some years later.
Cheers,
Jack
