I am shooting from memory....(we all know how dangerous that can be).
There are only 2 remaining K-27's (463 @ C&TS & 464 @ The Huck).
The D&SNGR has 3 K-28's (All operating?) The rest of the 480's went to the WP&Y and I am assuming (Dangerous word) that they fell to the scrapper.
The K-36 class has survived well. Durango has 4 (480, 481, 482, & 486) All operating except 486 which is being shopped. They are hoping to have it up and running by Rail Fest. Correct? The C&TS has the others (Except 485 that was scrapped in 1955). I know that 483 will soon be in the shop. Are all of the rest operating?
The K-37 class ...... I know 490 was scrapped in 1963 and 496 in 1955. Durango just traded 499? to the Royal Gorge for the 486. They have one in Silverton on display but I can't remember the number(either 493 or 498 I believe). Does Durango still have which ever one it isn't.
C&TS has the 492 and 497 in the shop and 494 and 495 are on display(1 in Chama and 1 in Antonito) Which one is where? That leaves on the 491 at the CRRM in Golden.
Right??????
Thanks,
Duane
