I've only just picked up on this but wonder if this is the "European" diesel mentioned in the thread though it is clearly numbered 790 and not 290. I'm no expert but it has a German, or maybe a Swedish, look about it to me. I've included the second photo to give an idea of the size, and especially the height, of the loco compared with the familiar IRCA 2-8-0's. The photos date from 12th April 2012. The railway and the roundhouse were still in use then and there was no museum but the marking on the diesel clearly show it had been kept as a museum exhibit.
