NNG- Martin Mars nears Lake Winnebago, WI for AirVenture

Following radar that I found on another site, it appears that the Martin Mars is less than an hour from her destination at Lake Winnebago near Oshkosh, WI. She reportedly departed the Port Alberni area of Vancouver Island around 0700 this morning.

I am starting to hear thunder as I write this, we are due for a strong storm and they should clear the worst of it.

She is a spectacular aircraft to see fly and I think, only one of two flying examples. Takes one back to the 40's, the boat years when there were numerous ones about.
