Searching through the Emlaw Collection in the www.sumptervalleyrailroad.org site 'archive' section I found this nice photo of S. Baker from 1948. The wye and the bridge across the Powder River are still in place, in the 1960 photo the trackage is arranged differently.
A lot of great information on the site, not many late logging photos though...
Were there many photos taken of the early efforts of the Restoration? Of course a movie would be nice... I recently found all my old super 8's (mostly model railroads from the '70s and '80s) and am acquiring equipment to convert them to digital...
