Doc, (B29) took his first flight this morning.

Got up before 6AM to watch Doc take his first flight since 1956 near his birthplace in Kansas. Orange Empire RR Museum was pulling up donated track at China Lake NWS when Doc was towed over to Inyokern airport. Looking from afar driving by each weekend I had SERIOUS DOUBTS that old aircraft would ever fly again because he was in rough shape.

Tony Mazzolini had the vision, and today 30 years after he first saw Doc, Doc is flying again. Congratulations to all involved in his restoration!
