340s tender

I am referring to the long highside tender she pulled in the 1940s (now behind 318 at CRRM)
I recently had a friend measure up the rear deck all around and found my On3 tender was off and had to move water hatch, rear coal bunker board, rework air tank etc.
But my question now is I want to mount the back up light as in this picture from 1947 rather than on the side bracket per 1949.
What is the box the backup light is mounted on, Metal tool box? Wood box? What, any ideas?
