My apologies to Trainorders.com members who are seeing these for the second time, but it was suggested I should post these here, too, to maybe get some answers to lingering questions.
Ed Von Nordeck rode the Railway Club of Southern California's "Rio Grande Holiday" excursion in late June 1951. He sent me some Kodachrome slides he shot along the way and gave permission to have them scanned and posted. The trip toured the D&RGW narrow gauge in Colorado and New Mexico from Alamosa to Durango, up to Silverton, then back to Alamosa before jogging over to the Rio Grande Southern to ride the Galloping Geese during that road's final months of existence. I understand the drill here on NGDF is five images per post, so I'll try to divide them up in ways that make sense.
