Its not narrow gauge, but some locomotives sold to the government (and especially the navy) seem to have simply dropped off of the map after the war. We have one also that went to the Navy's Dahlgren Military Railroad and disappeared after the war, and for that matter does not show up on anyone's rosters for the government, or the navy at all.
