I don't have a track plan handy, so let me try:
First we have the main line going east toward Alamosa.
In front of the section house is a switch to the right. This is the beginning of the "south siding" or storage track. While this track is now broken at the highway crossing, this track runs all the way out to Tanglefoot Curve (Cumbres Loop) where it used to tie back into the mainline. In the middle of this track is a crossover back to the mainline. The crossover is a back up move toward the section house from the mainline.
Moving east from the section house, the next switch going east (to the left) is the west leg of the wye.
The next switch to the left is the beginning of the "north siding" or short siding". This siding now goes across the highway. The east leg of the wye ties into the north siding. The north siding comes back into the main at the location of the crossover track from the south siding to the main.
Clear as mud, right?
