June 20, 2016 update:

Train shed: Foundation footings are poured and finished, prefab building will be delivered July 1st. Construction of the building will be done by a local contractor in mid-September (this is their busy season, that's the soonest they can schedule it), all cars will be under cover before snow flies.

252: RGS passenger coach 252 is on site, today we had the big crane in from Montrose and moved it into the location where we will be doing restoration work for a long time (for those familiar with the museum, this is right in front of the outfit car, where the caboose used to be before we moved it out to the main display track). So far we have removed some interior partitions and both platforms and did a quick exterior paint spray to make it look better this summer. The car is in surprisingly good condition, but restoration will be a long process. We'll be doing general restoration preparation the rest of the summer until the shed gets finished and paid for, and continue to recondition the air brakes on the caboose so they will work when connected to the recreated RGS 36.

RGS loco 36 recreation: work progresses steadily, more or less on schedule.

Business Car c: Still available for sale or trade for early passenger car trucks.
