My Westside Models D&RGW #50 was a piggy bank breaking $19.95 in 1970.
Speaking of breaking piggy banks, I own an early 70's WSMC C16 #278 that retailed for $59.95 and was originally purchased from a local Phoenix AZ model railroad emporium with a sack of change: mostly nickels, dimes and pennies, very few quarters and none of rolled. Just dump it out on the counter and start counting......The purchaser eventually moved on to Sn3 and I got it for the original purchase price. I paid for it with three $20 bills....
come to think of it, I think he still owes me a nickel.........
