493 Headed South this morning

The 493 left Silverton this morning shortly before noon cut into the middle of 10 coaches pulled by the 481. Everything went well, it was a beautiful day, and a small appreciative group on hand to see things. There was a 491 crew from Golden in attendance to care for the 493 and shepherd it down to Durango. The train is scheduled to arrive roughly around 5 p.m. A few pictures are posted here:

And now I have met Kyle and know who he is. I was looking for a large thumb print on him somewhere, but he like the rest of us, survived the morning.
