The East Broad Top Railroad closed as a coal hauler on April 14, 1956, and reopened as a regular tourist operation in 1961.
Yesterday I was again granted access to photograph the EBT's interior roundhouse and shops - the attached photo of a 1954 calendar and signed Shop Time Card is a sliver of the incredible time capsule at Orbisonia.
