Try to get a high end motel chain to partner with so a 500 room facility would be built in first Chama and then possibly a second in Antonito, with LARGE CONFERENCE/MEETING rooms, to be able to host all kinds of CONVENTIONS. Get our state owner partners to maybe provide some tax breaks for such an enterprise.

Investigate the possibility of all year running even it is for really short runs. Possibly another balloon or wye.

Frequent 'flyer' tickets for those that visit often. Could be similar to a group rate but based on an individual. IE after your 4th ride you get one free idea.

For me personally I would like to see that all of those that support this monumental effort to preserve this treasure that we also remember in order to fund it we need to also make it fun and entertaining, if it's NOT entertaining the general ride paying public won't come. That means helping support the towns folk and we all need to be part of the entertainment function..

There is nothing wrong in my opinion to have the volunteers in period costumes / uniforms / rail garb. Let's help set the mood!
