RTD managers estimate there were at least 160,000 passenger boarding on Denver's light rail system for the Broncos Super Bowl rally Tuesday. This was during an 8-hour span. As one of the train operators I would say that is a conservative estimate. Most tourist railroads would want that many passengers in a season, just not all at once.
This was the most passengers that RTD handled in one day in the 20-year history of the system.
