Hi, I'm obviously new to your forum. My sister, her husband and I went to Chama this Summer to ride the train. We went halfway, ate lunch and came back. While talking with a man knowledgable about the D&RGW we mentioned that we'd heard Henry was on the last run of the Chili Line. The gentleman did not think that was true. We were glad to read it somewhere on your site that he was the conductor on the last run.
I have a picture of him in an old album, with my brother-in-law's help maybe I can post it here. Henry died in 1952. My earliest memory at the age of 2 was seeing him sitting in a wheelchair. He lived in Santa Fe on what was then North Castillo Street (now Paseo de Peralta.) We lived across the street from them. I'll ask my sister about any earlier memories she may have of him.
